Remarks Luizi structure is a basin like circular structure on plateau at elevation 1300m. Two or three kimberlite pipes (Katalwa, Mafwa and Talala) has been found within the structure and they seems to pre-date the impact even. In 2010 a field trip by scientist revealed first convincing evidences of impact origin of this structure (Ferriére 2011). Both in situ shatter cones and later in laboratory PDF in quartz where found.
